About Us

ETC is the best place to bring your truck if you have been in an accident or you want the hottest custom truck you can ever dream of.

About Elizabeth Truck Center

Elizabeth Truck Center and its Sister company Car Craft Truck Works, combined, simply known as ETC, continue to raise the bar and set new standards in the trucking industry. Everyone should be familiar with our Build Off creation, “The Beast”, which we believe revolutionized the way the industry looks at custom trucks. Since then ETC has gone on to further impress with a makeover of a classic 1980 A-Model Kenworth, aptly named “Bride of the Beast”, an over the top urban assault vehicle, G-UNIT, transformed from a showroom-new 2006 Peterbilt 379, the restoration and finely detailed rebuild of a vintage 1966 Peterbilt. “The Punisher” is one of the most incredible Kenworths on the road, and an outrageous, off the hook, custom International ProStar, “Mayhem”, and let’s not forget “The Predator”, imitated, but never duplicated. Who would want to see that bearing down on them in their rear view mirror? The fun never stops at ETC, we’ve always got something new, or two, in the works.

ETC has perfected the fine art of truck modification. Our attention to detail, performance, fit and finish are unparalleled in the industry. Whether it’s a chop, stretch, straightening, alignment, bend, grind, weld, polish… each nip and tuck is performed with surgeon-like precision as can easily be seen in our finished products.

ETC is more than just a shop that builds show trucks at their leisure. In fact, it’s quite the contrary. Elizabeth Truck Center and Car Craft Truck Works turn over an astounding amount of Heavy Collision repair work at a staggering pace. Easily boasting the largest heavy collision business on the East Coast, ETC turned out over 3000 collision jobs last year. Not too bad for a family owned company.

ETC, the Company, was founded back in the 70’s by Steve Pesce Sr. in the Redhook section of Brooklyn, where they specialized in Corvette repair. ‘Senior’, as he his often referred to, now oversees all the operations of two locations (NY and NJ) each run by one of his sons, Anthony and Steven. ETC now employs over 100 people. Facilities have been expanded several times to accommodate an ever increasing workload. Currently in the planning stages is a new multilevel complex that will house 2 new spray booths, a dedicated area just for custom work and fabrication, additional 100 ton cold frame pulling apparatus and a host of new bays and equipment plus a storage facility.

Completing the full picture of ETC is our illustrious chrome shop and online store where you will find just about anything to dress up your truck. If you can’t find it, or nobody makes it, someone will get Anthony on the phone and they’ll custom design and fit almost anything you can dream up. But there is more than enough selection in the ETC Chrome Shop to give your rig a full makeover from exhaust, bumpers, grilles, boxes to shifter knobs, dash accessories and wood and chrome accents.

We showcase our builds at a handful of shows each year, accompanied by our mobile chrome shop. We enjoy getting out and meeting the people that keep the wheels turning every day. We look forward to meeting you or helping you repair or trick out a truck.
